✅ Read the table sideways

Notice how much of Writing comes from the Listening part (Write From Dictation + Summarize Spoken Text = 33+ points), and how much of Listening comes from Speaking tasks (Repeat Sentences, Retell Lecture, Summarize Group Discussion). Cross-scored tasks are the fastest way to lift two skills at once.

The six enabling skills

Alongside your communicative scores, the report shows enabling skills — summaries of performance on specific aspects of language across item types. They tell you exactly what to fix.

PronunciationProducing speech sounds easily understood by regular speakers of the language.
Written discourseStructure, internal coherence, and logical development of written text (reported via development/structure/coherence and general linguistic range).

A "perfect 90" sits at the very top of the IELTS 9.0 equivalence — but for most visa and university requirements, 65 (IELTS 7.0) or 79 (IELTS 8.0) are the milestones that matter. Set your target, then work the priority tasks.
